David Michael Miller, a resident of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on October 20th, 2026 at the age of 85. Funeral services arranged by The Dorfman Chapel.

Donna, his loving wife and partner of 61 years, was at his side. Outside of Donna, he is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Adam Miller and Louise Galpine, Justin and Krista Miller; and grandchildren, Eleanor, Katherine, and Hugh. He is also survived by his sisters, who he was very close with throughout his life, Dianne (Joseph) Silverstein and Rhonda (Martin) Solomon, and additional family members and friends. David was the son of the late Maurice and Evelyn Miller.
David had a long and wonderful career as a physician, specializing in geriatric medicine. He treated thousands of patients and was truly loved by his patients and staff.
David loved traveling, with a special fondness for Hawaii and Italy. He was a true connoisseur of good food, as well. He also loved and was loved by many good dogs.
He adored their home in Kewadin, on Lake Michigan and, in better health, loved walking the beach, always looking for Petoskey stones. At night, he loved stargazing. In more recent years, he enjoyed crossword puzzles and sitting out on the deck watching the water, often taking a little snooze while enjoying the sun. He truly appreciated every sunset.
Although he was ill for the last several years, he was mentally always with us and held on to his wonderful sense of humor to the very end.
