Sharon Burns, of Roseville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born and raised in Oak Park, Michigan, Sharon was the beloved daughter of Jack and Ruth Fine and grew up alongside her brother, David Fine. She carried with her the values of family, resilience, and compassion throughout her life.

Sharon built a successful career managing the financial and day-to-day operations of Benyas Kaufman Photographers. She was known for her strong work ethic, organizational skills, and dedication, earning the respect and friendship of those she worked with over the years.

More than anything, Sharon cherished her family. She was the devoted mother of Michael (Randie) Kohler and Melissa (Tom) Daris and the proud, loving grandmother of Montgomery, Macklan, Eva, and Tommy III. Her grandchildren were a constant source of pride and joy, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. Sharon was always there for her family, offering love, encouragement, and support through every stage of life. She especially enjoyed shopping and treasured every visit and moment spent with her grandchildren, creating memories they will carry with them forever.

She is also survived by her devoted brother, David (Marti) Fine; her aunt, Betty Miller, who was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Sharon had an extraordinary love for animals and opened her heart to every pet that became part of her family. Caesar, Scruffy, Ninja, Shenna, Buddy, Sniffles, Mac, and Ginger each held a special place in her heart, and she cared for them with endless love and devotion. Anyone who knew Sharon knew that her compassion extended to both people and animals alike.

In her late thirties, Sharon was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Rather than allowing that diagnosis to define her, she met life's challenges with remarkable courage, determination, and grace. Her journey inspired her lifelong support of the American Brain Tumor Association, a cause that remained close to her heart.

A woman of deep faith, Sharon was a devoted member of Shir Tikvah Congregation and found comfort, strength, and community through her Jewish faith.

Among her many interests, Sharon enjoyed collecting Lladró porcelain sculptures, appreciating their beauty and craftsmanship. She found joy in surrounding herself with meaningful keepsakes and creating a warm and welcoming home for those she loved.

Sharon will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and beloved pets. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. Her beautiful smile, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will never be forgotten.

Although Sharon is no longer with us, the love she shared, the lessons she taught, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
