A man of few words, but still waters run deep. Doug was a hardworking, funny, and devoted husband, father, and brother. Aside from his family, Doug loved nothing more than a good meal, an interesting book, or listening to classic rock. He'd have a special twinkle in his eye when he told tales of his roadie days at Wing Stadium, where he worked while attending school at Western Michigan University. After retirement, he lived a peaceful life with his beloved wife of 43 years, Sandra ("Sandi"), and kept active with long walks around their quiet neighborhood.
Doug was a gentle giant, a kind soul who secretly loved creatures big and small. He had the biggest soft spot for his grand-dog Buffy. Preceded in death by his loving parents Flo and Ed Rozman. Survived by Sandi, his daughter Gina (Travers "TJ") Rozman-Wendle (also partnered to Alexandra Ross), his sister Roz (Tom) Byrne, and other loving family, Doug will forever live on in the sound of a guitar strum and the beats of our hearts.
