Family Members:
Ammi Kash lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer June 8, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Ammi was born in Detroit, Michigan, the beloved child of Dr. Allen and Marcia Kash. From an early age, Ammi was known for her kindness, spirit and love of family.

With a strong sense of responsibility and call to caring for others, Ammi gained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of Detroit Mercy. These qualities remained constant throughout her life and career, rooted in service and quiet strength. Ammi was a dedicated member of the community and took pride in showing up for others in meaningful ways. Ammi loved the arts, especially musical theater, even getting to act in a few theater performances with her daughters. Ammi’s area of comfort and joy was relaxing at her parents lake house, surrounded by family, where she enjoyed tearing up the lake on a jet ski, basking in the sun, lounging in the pool and taking in beautiful sunsets. Above all, Ammi treasured time spent with family and close friends. Finding joy in everyday moments. Her resilience during ten years of fighting breast cancer was unmatched. Her greatest achievement was being a mother to her two daughters, Isabella and Arianna. Ammi was incredibly proud of both daughters becoming recent graduates and celebrated every cherished moment. The memories that they built as a family will live on with her girls.

Ammi is survived by her loving parents Dr. Allen and Marcia Kash, her daughters Isabella and Arianna Drysdale, her brothers Ben (Teresa) Kash, Shane (Erin) Kash, and sister Jessica (Adam) Ratzow. Also survived by her favorite nieces and nephews: Ila Mindell, Sarah, Emmett, and Gabriel Kash, and Hannah, Heidi, Charles, Henrik Ratzow. She will be deeply missed by her surviving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and many friends.
