Family Members:

Mark Wayne Geoffrey, 82, of Bloomfield Hills, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, surrounded by his beloved wife of 55 years, Sonia Geoffrey; his children, Bryan Geoffrey (Summer) and Lauren Pisick (Evan); and his cherished grandchildren, Rachel Pisick, Morgan Pisick, Noah Geoffrey, and Brooke Geoffrey.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on October 9, 1943, Mark attended the University of Detroit before beginning a distinguished career at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for more than 40 years and was an early developer of CAD-CAM technology.

Following his retirement, Mark devoted his time to serving others. He volunteered regularly at The Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield, where he offered friendship and support to individuals with special needs and their families. He was also an active member of the Senior Men's Club of Birmingham.

Music was one of the great joys of Mark's life. He loved not only playing music himself, but also listening deeply and appreciatively — whether at Symphony Hall, in a jazz club, or in Sonia's piano studio. A lifelong lover of learning, culture, and travel, Mark explored countries around the world, embracing their history, museums, performances, traditions, and cuisine with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Above all, Mark was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose kindness, gentleness, and unwavering support touched everyone who knew him. His family was the center of his life, and he took immense pride in the people he loved. His warm spirit, playful sense of humor, and compassionate heart will be deeply missed.

Mark is also survived by his granddaughter, Aliyah Rouls (Stephen), and their children, Chase, Ryan, and Bridget; as well as his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and twelve nieces and nephews, along with their spouses and children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Agnes Geoffrey, and his brothers, Stephen Geoffrey, David Geoffrey (Rita), and James Geoffrey.
