- David A. Gumenick, 88, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026. He is survived by his loving children, Lynne (David) Newman and Jason Gumenick, and his devoted partner, Fenei Greenwald. Known to his granddaughters as “Papa David,” he was deeply loved and admired by Sydney and Rikki Newman, and Maya and Lily Gumenick. He will be dearly missed by his many lifelong friends who became family, and by family who were also his closest friends.
