Family Members:
Howard Alan Reznick, born on March 14, 1938 in Detroit, passed away on December 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, compassion, and deep love for his family and community.

For more than 40 years, Howard practiced as a podiatrist in Ypsilanti and Chelsea, Michigan where he was treasured by countless patients. Known for his kindness, professionalism, and genuine care, he made a meaningful impact on those he treated and built relationships that lasted for decades and across generations.

Howard was the beloved son of Harry and Lillian Reznick and is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Martin Peltz.

Howard was married to Joyce Willis Reznick for 40 years, a love, work, and life partnership that was a defining chapter of his life. At the time of his passing, he shared his life with his loving partner and companion, Cheryl Silver, who devotedly cared for him throughout his final years.

He leaves behind his children: Michael Reznick (Lori Reznick), Debbie Reznick (Vincent Shine), Danny Reznick (Amanda Baughn Reznick), and Shaunna Holman (Marc Holman). Howard was very proud of his children, and of his beloved grandchildren Nick Davis, and Sophie and Looey Reznick, who brought him great joy.

Howard also leaves behind a group of cherished friends, many of whom considered him to be a part of their own families.

Howard truly appreciated the small moments of every day. He loved sunrises and sunsets, animals (especially his dogs), nature, eating great meals, playing golf with his friends, and spending time with his family. Day after day, he would tell his children and friends that today “was the best he ever had.”

Howard will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on through his family, his patients, and the many lives he touched.
