Family Members:

Martin held BA and BS degrees from the University of Michigan and received his D.O. degree at Des Moines University in Iowa. He was Chief of the Endocrine Division at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit for over 20 years until his retirement in 2015.

Martin was an avid and eclectic reader, amassing a library of over 2,000 books. A nature lover, he enjoyed nothing more than walking in the woods or photographing birds with his beloved Labrador Retrievers by his side.

Beloved husband of Johanna Bermann. Devoted brother of Lynaia Bermann. Also survived by many other loving family members and friends.
