- Family Members:
- Judith Trotsky, of West Bloomfield passed away peacefully on October 19 at the age of
89. Judith, beloved wife of of the late Dr. Martin Trotsky, devoted mother of Michael (Marie)
Trotsky, Lori (Michael) Kwolek, and Susan Trotsky. Loving grandmother of Jason Trotsky and
Andrew Kwolek, and older sister to the late Harold Peritz.
Judy was loved by all who knew her. She always had an positive upbeat attitude which
is one of the many reasons she had a group of close friends dating back more than 60 years.
Her late husband Marty, was her partner in all things. They were married for 48 years and did
everything together. His passing in 2003 was a devastating blow, but eventually Judy forged a
new life for herself. She joined a bereavement group and made new connections. She learned
Canasta and Mahjong, and found wonderful new friendships with the women in her Monday
card group. She looked forward to playing cards every week and celebrating birthdays with all
the women in the group. She had a full social life with both old and new friends, which brought
her a lot of joy.
Judy also had a love of all beautiful things. She loved art of all kinds and was an avid
gardener. She loved having flowers in and around her home. Judy saw beauty and the best in
everything. She will be deeply missed. Judy is survived by many family and friends and will be forever in their hearts.
