Jane Kladzyk Berris, a resident of Sun City West, Arizona, died on April 28th, 2025 at the age of 84. Funeral services arranged by The Dorfman Chapel.

Religious services will be held Thursday and Sunday evenings at 7:00PM.
Shiva Hours:
Thursday- following the interment until 9:00PM
Friday- from 1:00PM until 4:00PM
Sunday- from 1:00PM until 4:00PM, then 6:30PM until 9:00PM.
Shiva will be completed at the home of Marvin and Jane Berris 14223 W Dusty Trail Blvd, Sun City West, AZ 85375 starting Monday and continuing through Wednesday from 6:30PM through 9:00PM with services nightly at 7:00PM.

She was born in Harbor Beach Michigan and grew up in the Michigan Thumb eventually moving to Bad Axe, Michigan where she graduated from Bad Axe High School. Her parents were the late Jerome Zeke Kladzyk and Helen Kavanagh. She had multiple siblings.
After graduating from High School, she moved to Detroit where she began work at the Burroughs Corporation. She married and had three children; she was devoted to them; raising them was her entire life. Her son Todd Kaminski is married to Julie of Marshall Michigan, her son Keith Kaminski is married to Jennifer of Farmington, Michigan and their daughter and son-in-law Lauren and Dillon Mitchell of Twain Harte, California. She also had many grandchildren and great grandchildren among them Ryan Kaminski and Alec Kaminski children of Todd and Julie.
She also leaves surviving her the children and grandchildren of her husband Marvin Berris who survives her. Gordon Berris and his wife Randi of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and their daughter Rachel, Michelle Brotzman and her husband Robert of Washington, D.C. and their daughters Shayna and Noa, and Joshua Berris and his wife Amy of Lagrange, Georgia and their children Adriane and Gabriel.
She enjoyed being a part of the extended Berris family including the late Bess Berris, Charles Berris and his wife Barbara, Howard Berris and his wife Sherri, Cantor Earl Berris and his wife Ilana, and Risa Berris.
During her working years while raising her children she trained and worked as a nurse, did modeling, voice overs, and films, and later worked as an administrative assistant at General Electric Research and Development in the plastics division. She took a part-time job at Target and became shortly thereafter an assistant manager at the Livonia store. Her greatest working achievement was being the owner and operator of the successful Jane’s Place Café in Southfield Michigan where her café was named Best of Detroit.
Jane was active in her Temple in Sun City Arizona serving on the Board of Directors for many years, planning activities, working to increase membership, chairing numerous fund-raising programs for the Temple. Her spirit and personality made everyone comfortable and wanting to be working and joining with her in any of the many activities that she undertook. She especially enjoyed operating a soup kitchen from the Temple for those in need during their illness.
