Cheryl Mehr, a resident of The Villages, Florida, died on December 11th, 2024 at the age of 80. Funeral services arranged by The Dorfman Chapel.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Gayle Mehr. Cheryl was the beloved wife of Michael, who preceded her in death in 2018. A proud mother to Amy, Jeff, and Lauren, and cherished grandmother to Lexie, Avery, Nate, Addison, and Amelia, passed away surrounded by her family on December 11, 2024 at the age of 80.
Cheryl lived a full life marked by her wit, humor, and unfiltered sarcasm. She had a unique ability to make those around her laugh, often with a sharp comment that left a lasting impression. Whether it was a playful quip or a sharp observation, Cheryl had a way of bringing levity to any situation, and her sense of humor will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Cheryl had a passion for Michigan football, and she could often be found cheering on her beloved Wolverines with enthusiasm. She shared this love with her family, making Michigan football Saturdays a cherished tradition.
Cheryl was an avid dog lover and made a companion and friend in Gracie, who she adopted from the ASPCA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the ASPCA.
Rest in peace, Cheryl. You will always be in our hearts.
