Edith was a survivor of Auschwitz and lost both her parents and many siblings in the Holocaust.

Beloved wife of the late Cantor Joseph Birnholtz. Dear mother of Sandy (Sue) Birnholtz, Marilyn (Michael) Franco and Mark (Paula) Birnholtz. Loving grandmother of Jeremy Birnholtz, Melanie (Matt) Hildebrandt, Bryan (Mandy) Franco, Ashley (Craig) Roos, Jordan, Matthew and Eric Birnholtz, and the late Kenny Birnholtz. Adoring great-grandmother of Samara, Elie and Jacob Hildebrandt, Sydney and Adelyne Franco, Harrison Roos and Felix Roos. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
