Family Members:

Frances Marblestone, Age 92, passed away in Minnetonka, Minnesota on April 3, 2024. Preceded in death by parents, George and Ida Frankel; and her husband of 63 years, Frederic L. Marblestone. Survived by sister Marilyn Hoskow and brother-in-law Jerold Hoskow; children, Kenneth (Janisse Nagel), Steven (Julie), and Julie (Brian Weisberg); grandchildren, Melissa (Kevin Patrick), Lauren (Evan Tarshish), Haley, Kevin, Matthew (Allie Page), Kenna, and David; great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Noa; and many loving nieces and nephews. Frances lived most of her life in the Detroit metropolitan area. After receiving her degree from Wayne State University, she was a teacher at the Detroit Day School for the Deaf for more than 40 years. After retirement, she enjoyed tutoring students in English as a second language. She also taught her family throughout her lifetime about kindness, caring and devotion. She especially enjoyed her role as grandmother and recently found special joy in becoming a great-grandmother. Frances will be missed by all who knew her.
