Family Members:
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Claire Raminick at the age of 92. Claire was the cherished widow of the late Leo Raminick (z”l)

Claire was born on November 24, 1931 to Jules and Rose Suberoff in Detroit. She lived a full, happy, and simple life in Southfield. Mother of Shelley (Raymond) Spaulding, Shaye, Sherwin, Shari (Howard) Resnick. In addition to being a devoted mother, Claire was a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother, adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy and nachus.

Grandmother of Matthew (Jennifer) Raminick, Kimberly (Douglas) Chenoweth, Daniel (Holly Hintz) Raminick, Kourtney Spaulding (Cory Duchesneau), Sara Raminick, David Pelker, Julianne Resnick, and Brandon Resnick. Great-Grandmother of Isabella, Liam, Maggie, & Logan Pelker, Drew & Grant Shaw, Bennett, Bo, Gabrielle, & Rex Chenoweth, Ruby & Chloe Raminick, Arya Duchesneau, & Finn Raminick.

Her favorite times were spent traveling with Leo all across America in their RV. She was a very involved grandmother, rarely missing an important game or performance. She was an avid sports fan, especially to her ‘boys’ the Detroit Tigers. She never missed a game and Leo often said ‘I’m the only husband who gets the paper and hands the sports section to his wife’. In the early years, she could be seen in the stands cheering on Leo the umpire and keeping score.
