Ronald P. Colbert died on October 23rd, 2023 at the age of 57. Funeral services arranged by The Dorfman Chapel.

Shiva Information:

While no formal funeral service will be held, the family will be sitting on Wednesday and Thursday at the residence of Carol and Dick Walker, 3240 Mimosa Dr. Commerce MI 48390 Phone: (248) 421-8292.

Religious services will be held Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00PM.

Shiva Hours:
Wednesday- from 4:00PM until 9:00PM
Thursday- from 12:30PM until 9:00PM.

Family Members:

Beloved husband of Sheri Colbert. Loving father of Ashley Colbert and step-father of Jack and Blake Yates. Cherished grandfather of Evelyn. Dear brother of Steve (Patricia Wilson), Tanya (Robert) Overmyer, and Scott (Jennifer) Colbert. Dearest uncle of Mckenzie, Melanie, Ethan, Griffin, Jessica and Lillie. Devoted son-in-law of Carol and Dick Walker. Adoring brother-in-law of Denise Walker and Michelle (Dr. Edward) Peres.

Ron was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed all sports and rooting for the Detroit teams. He loved everything about the 80’s, the music, cheesy movies and classic band tee’s. He was so proud to grow out his Mohawk and dyed it fun colors for the holidays. He also enjoyed traveling, and traveled to Chicago regularly, loved trips throughout the US, and traveled abroad to Greece, Amsterdam, Mexico, and Iceland. He even eloped in Las Vegas and had a blast on an 80s cruise. Ron will be deeply missed.
