Dr. Maurice A Frankel passed away on March 28, 2023. Born in Detroit 07/26/34 Dr. Frankel is a graduate of Central High School, Hillsdale College in 1956 and Wayne State University medical school in 1960. Dr. Frankel practiced as a general surgeon for 50 years beginning his career at Sinai Hospital of Detroit.
Dr. Frankel is survived by his wife of 37 years, Charlotte (Sweet) Frankel; his daughters Robyn Frankel, Wendy (Brian) Rubin, Rachel Frankel, Abigail (David) Parks and Eliza Frankel; his son Paul (Jill) Frankel; grandchildren, Samantha (Matthew) Hartsell, Matthew Kaiser, Jacob Frankel, Ava Frankel, Judah Frankel, Eleanor Parks and John Parks and one great-granddaughter Addison Hartsell. He is also survived by his brothers, Hon. Marvin (the late Marlene) Frankel and Dr. Jerome (Carol) Frankel. Maurice is preceded in death by his father and mother Isadore and Dorothy Frankel.
