Family Members:
Constance ('Connie') Drescher, 92, formerly of Port Huron, MI, passed away peacefully with family by her side in her home in Bellevue WA on March 18, 2023. Connie is survived by her son Charles (Robin), grandson Max (Natalia), sister Clara Gordon (Harvey), and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Philip and son Peter. Connie was born in Detroit on August 6, 1930, the eldest daughter of Rubin and Dora (Gutkovsky) Fischhoff. Connie was an educator, working in the Port Huron schools for many years. She was deeply passionate about literature, art, and theatre. After her sons were grown, Connie pursued her love of travel. Israel, China, Turkey, Morocco, and Spain are among the many countries she visited, with a particular interest in art and culture. In her retirement, Connie moved to the All Seasons in West Bloomfield, MI and then to the Bellettini in Bellevue, WA. Connie treasured her family and the many friends she made over the years, Her lively spirit and sense of humor will be deeply missed.
