Barbara Eskin, a resident of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on February 8th, 2023 at the age of 82. Funeral services arranged by The Dorfman Chapel.

Religious services will be held Sunday and Monday evenings at 7:00PM.

Family Members:

Barbara taught at Hillel Day School for over 50 years and several years at Temple Israel. She was a proud member of the David Horodok Organization and member of Adat Shalom Synagogue. Barbara created magic with her hands. She designed and made Siddur covers, tallit bags, shower wraps, football pillows , scarves and so much more. Each with love and care. Judaism, family and dear friends were the center of her world. She was the beloved daughter of Irving and Sylvia Pelavin (צ״ל) She was the beloved wife of Mort Eskin (ז״ל) Cherished mother to Marcie Goldstein, Jon (Laina) Eskin, Debbie (Darryl) Kaplan and son in law Ethan Goldstein. She was the sister of Ed Pelavin (Arlene), Ron Pelavin and sister in law to Jerry (Judy) (צ״ל) Eskin. Her gems were her grandchildren whose legacy will live on through all of them. She was Bubbie to Ben, Seth and Manya Goldstein, Morgan and Max Kaplan, many cousins and a world of close friends. She will be dearly missed by all who were lucky to have in their lives.
