Family Members:

Lee Franklin (neé Shlain) of Farmington Hills, MI passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Buddy Franklin. Lee is survived by her loving children, Suzy (Joe) Fucini, Larry (Joyce) Franklin, and Jillian Adams. Also surviving are devoted grandsons, Jeffrey (Dayna) Franklin and David (Alexandra) Franklin, and cherished great-grandchildren, Elaina, Cecilia, Natalie, Raymond and Annie. Lee was preceded in death by dear family friend Ernestine Gowens.
The daughter of the late Jessie and Mitchell Shlain, Lee grew up in Detroit and attended Highland Park High School. She met Buddy at a dance at Temple Beth El when she was only 16. After raising her family, Lee began a career as a sales rep for automotive products. Despite never having worked previously, this stay-at-home mom went on to win a national sales award as the #1 seller of her client’s products in the US!
