Family Members:

John Kuhn, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully on January 1st, 2023. Born April 5th, 1938 in Budapest, Hungary to Eugene and Elizabeth Kuhn, John immigrated to the United States at an early age and settled in Detroit, MI. He and his twin sister grew up in a family that greatly valued the opportunities afforded by democracy in the United States and the value of a quality public education while attending Fairbanks Elementary and Cooley High in the Detroit Public School system.

Taught by his father, John gravitated to math and accounting, earning a degree from Wayne State University, and then joining the Federal Government. For over 40 years, John worked for various Federal agencies such as the Government Accountability Office, Security Exchange Commission, and the US Trustee as an analyst and accountant.

John was married to Dr. Gloria Jean Kuhn. He is survived by Gloria, all three of his children and two grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. John greatly enjoyed following the news of the world as well as traveling to see the world and family members.

Beloved husband of Dr. Gloria Kuhn. Dear father of David and Su-Yen Kuhn, Michael and Amy Kuhn, Deena Kuhn. Loving grandfather of Andrew and Emma Kuhn.
