Family Members:

Ellen Lux, 86, of West Bloomfield died September 30, 2022. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Herbert Lux. Ellen was the daughter of the late Morey and the late Shirley Skolnick, and sister of the late Larry Skolnick. She is survived by her children Jane and Robert Krasnick, Jeffrey and Allison Lux and Diane and John Krawitz, as well as grandchildren Rachel (fiance Noah Duchan), Leah and Julie Krasnick, and Ben and Lauren Krawitz. She enjoyed volunteering with ORT throughout the years. She loved the arts, jewelry and became an avid reader later in life, often suggesting books to her grandchildren to read along with her. She loved all of her friends and will be sorely missed by the Hechtman Senior Life Community.
