Family Members:

She was born in Wisconsin and grew up in Michigan, the eldest daughter of Arthur and Rebecca Solom, both deceased.
She was married to Leo Berg for 63 years, until his death in 2013.
A remarkable woman, Temmy was intellectually and academically ahead of her time. She spent her career as an educator and librarian for Detroit Public Schools. After their retirements, she and Leo traveled extensively, exploring the world and instilling in their family a sense of adventure.
Even as her body slowed down with age, Temmy never lost her spark for knowledge or curiosity about the world around her. At 99, she took up painting.
She is survived by her sister, Beverly Swartz; daughters Barbara (William) Skimin And Elaine (Gerald) Sacks; granddaughters Jennifer (Justin) Jamal, Amelia (Jesse) Stanfield, Catherine (Gary) Duma, Dina (Yehuda) Levantal and Shoshana (Yitzchak) Korn; great-grandsons Lincoln, Hunter, Graham, Aria, Luca and Theron; as well as beloved friends and relatives, too numerous to list.
Her family will miss her dearly, but is grateful for the years they got to spend with her.
