Joseph Lipson (1929-2018) was born in Detroit Michigan, the youngest of seven sons. He lived in the Detroit area most of his life until recently relocating to California to live near his son and his family. He served in the U.S. army for two years . After returning from military service he went to accounting college on the GI Bill, married Anita Eisner and had two children. He later became a CPA and worked for several firms including Tischler and Lipson, Deloitte Touche and later Hartman and Tyner.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Anita (Eisner) Lipson. He leaves a daughter Randee Lawrence (Dennis Paige) and son Brian (Sherry) Lipson, six grandsons: Collin (Liza), Noah (Megan) and Robin (Rachel) Lawrence, Joshua, Adam and Jonah Lipson, and seven great grandchildren.

Joe will be remembered by family and friends for his gentle manner, his love of sports, Broadway musicals, his corny jokes and sense of humor.
